Whether it’s a business or community involvement, what inspires you?
While I feel it’s important to pull inspiration from just about everywhere, I feel inspired most by my challenges and failures. It’s sometimes the most difficult situations that help me grow and strengthen personally and creatively and push me out of my comfort zone.
What aspirations do you have for yourself?
Traveling and touring more with my original musical production. It’s also very important to me that my children experience what the world has to offer.
What is your favorite way to give back to the community?
I’m very fortunate to have found a niche in an industry that can, by its very nature, bring so many people together. Music has been one of the most powerful tools for uplifting those around me and I love each moment an audience member shares how a certain song has touched their heart.
What is your favorite thing about the Ocala area?
I love Ocala’s rich history! I’m particularly fascinated by Marti City and our once flourishing cigar industry. I’m continuously amazed at all the intriguing facts about our city. It’s also a wonderful place to raise a family. There are often family-oriented activities going on such as the Levitt Amp Summer Concert Series and the Ocala Public Library’s “Phantoms at the Fort” in the Fall.
