You have seen him on billboards and on the pages of Ocala Magazine. You have seen her dressed to the nines at charitable galas and community events. Today, however, Frank and Michelle Deluca invite you into their world – their home in the prestigious Country Club of Ocala.
Ocala native Michelle Deluca and her husband Frank adore their fairway-framed home that stretches out across their property, lined with huge windows that allow for stunning sunset views. “Our view of the driving range makes the back yard seem to go on and on,” explains Michelle. “When certain light hits it, it looks like a rolling sea of green.”
Upon entering the massive home, you are likely to be greeted by Yorkies Sienna and Sugar. Standing in the gorgeous foyer, you can see the living room, bar, dining room, family room and a hint of the fabulous new Kitchen countertops. Likewise, you can sneak a peek of the couple’s new wine room, made custom with a hand-painted ceiling, authentic wine barrel wood flooring, a corks-under-glass table and spacious wine coolers filled with specialty and fine wines. In the family room, Frank and Michelle’s favorite room, the couple enjoys putting their feet up and relaxing with a good book or while watching a favorite show. From the family room, you have a spectacular view of the crystal clear pool and beautiful, manicured backyard.
Described by Frank as “Mediterranean with French flair,” the home sits in a quiet cul de sac, providing privacy and serenity for the couple and their pups. However, when they opt for guests, Mr. and Mrs. Deluca have tons of space and an amazing indoor bar for mixing spirits. Additionally, they have a flawless open-air patio, perfect for outdoor soirees.
Built custom in 1996 by Pete Adolph, the Deluca home is not only filled with exquisite decor and conversation pieces, it is filled with precious memories that makes this home priceless. From their engagement photos to Christmas card portraits, tons of photographs have been captured within this stunning estate.
Having moved to Ocala in 1978, unable to pass up the Toyota business opportunity, Frank Deluca proudly calls Ocala “home.” He says it is the perfect place to raise children. Likewise, “a perfect blending of the country and downtown, hometown feel.”
With everything in its place, picture-perfect, the Deluca home is both warm and inviting while looking like a showroom of magnificent treasures the couple has collected over the years. Although it may seem Frank and Michelle are all about their successful business, at home, the two are like any other husband and wife duo – enjoying mealtime together, the luxury of quality time and nights cuddled up in front of a warm fire. Not only are the two in love with their home, but quite obviously with each other.
