As a kid living in Ocala, it is different from other places. It has lots of horse farms and a city. The city of Ocala offers shopping, restaurants and entertainment like all big cities, but just drive fifteen minutes outside the city and you are surrounded by beautiful farms. Some people have also called Marion County the Horse Capital of the World. I actually live on a farm and we have horses. Horses are so enjoyable to have around. Whenever my friends come over they love to play with them.
