Christine Geisler

Business Analyst

Christine was born in Croydon, Pennsylvania and moved to sunny Florida at the wee age of 7 years old. Her father moved the family to sunny Florida to run his own AM radio station and cable television station. As you can see, marketing is in her blood!  Having graduated from Mt. Dora High School and furthering her education at Sumter College, Christine had to move onward and upwards.  With a brief stint in Atlanta and Greeley, Colorado, Christine moved back to Florida and found her niche in advertising and marketing with the Palm Beach Daily New, otherwise known as the Shiny Sheet on the island of Palm Beach. Having cultivated her sales and marketing skills, Christine then continued on to work for the Palm Beach Post and the Sun Sentinel. With over 16 years experience, marketing is her passion! The responsibility for marketing programs, brand management, and client representation are what drive Christine to excel at her position. Strategic business development, marketing, partnering and building her clients brand are what she is all about. When not working on coming up with clever ideas and solutions for her clients, Christine enjoys spending time with her amazingly talented, beautiful and well rounded children, Madison, Peyton and Dylan.  Always a go-getter. Always looking for a better solution to better serve her clients and her family, appreciating every step of the way and always smiling!  The glass is always half full! That's what Christine is all about.

Amber Tompkins

Food Editor

Ocala, Florida native Amber Tompkins has always had a passion for good food and classic southern hospitality. The 26 year old Florida State Graduate loves supporting local businesses and trying out local eateries, especially when traveling. She believes that food is a universal language. A true chef, no matter the genre of cuisine, is one who can tell a story through their food. That doesn’t always require expert culinary credentials or merits; sometimes the best meals are the ones made by those who learned in their own environment with the tools they had- nothing fancy, just a burning desire to create something amazing. In this food editor’s opinion, when you can taste the passion in every bite the meal was prepared by a true chef.

Lisa McGinnes

She has experience in print and broadcast journalism, and has worked with several nonprofit organizations as a public relations specialist. In her time off, she enjoys exploring the natural world in her kayak and on her mountain bike, and having outdoor adventures with her husband.

Whitney Willett

Medical Editor

Born in Ocala, Whitney is a life-long Central Florida resident. Her career in the medical field began as a certified pharmacy technician. Whitney also practiced as a licensed massage therapist before moving to Orlando to pursue her degree in pre-medical biology. She has experience in the specialties of dermatology, plastic surgery, chiropractic, primary care and medical management. With a diverse education and work background, Whitney returned to Ocala in 2014 to focus on her true passion – patient education. Outside of work, Whitney enjoys frequenting Ocala’s independent restaurants, attending concerts, cooking and Gator football games.
