Hello from the Planet,
Town and country is the theme for Ocala Magazine's January issue, so we ran with the The photo shoot was amazing working with the models and Eric Heikkenen on the farm to capture both Town and Country. Town was a great set with hot rollers and country was a braid to give texture. You can see the difference in texture, one softer curl from hot rollers and breaking the curl up with Planet Cosmo Sculpting Transition Paste to add shine and keep the curl uptown. The country was braided so we could get a texture broken up with Planet Cosmo Sculpting Texture paste that would replicate a day of riding in the country or even the horse park – one of Ocala’s premier attractions. Even if you’re not a rider, you can still get out there and see the beauty of country.
The makeup palette chosen for the Town and Country shoot were the same for Audra, and Alyssa. The applications, on the other hand, were different – creating two different looks.
Audra’s makeup was more of a daytime look for country, keeping the plums from the palette more muted, with a muted berry stained lip. Alyssa’s look was more intense with a stronger focus on the eyes for the town, and a deeper berry stained lip.
Just goes to show you, that application is the key to creating different looks, while using the same products. Your options are limitless.
