Marion County Parks and Recreation will “kick-off” our fifth season of co-ed youth flag football at Wrigley Fields beginning Jan. 21 through Feb. 25 for five to 12 year olds.
This popular program teaches the basic skills, rules and strategies of football, as well as concepts including teamwork, fair play and recreation as a form of fitness and exercise.
Teams are limited to one to two practices each week (beginning after winter break) with games played on Saturday mornings.
Discounted registration is available online at www.marioncountyfl.org/parks from Dec. 1 until Dec. 10 for only $20. An on-site registration will be offered on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. for $25.
Wrigley Fields is located at 405 E Hwy 316 in Citra.
