Cosmo says...
Hello from the Planet,
Well here we are at Thanksgiving and 6 weeks away from Christmas. My, how time flies.
We have been busy getting ready for the New Year trends and working the last of the year's shows.
The report from abroad is that women want to look their best no matter what trends say, and they don’t want the same style as every one else. Glamour will always be a trend. Like a little black dress, it never goes out of style.
On the November cover, you saw smooth hair pulled up in a bun with a comb for accessory and dimension on Danielle. Clay had a clean classic cut with some added texture and etched at the hair line to define his look.
This is a very glamourous look and can be achieved easily at home. If you have been following the Cosmo says advice column you know how to prep your hair for maximum shine and control. Make sure when you’re finished with the holiday style that you take the time to condition your hair to maintain healthy hair.
Take out your hot rollers, curling irons and get some texture going. This is what you’re seeing in all the magazines.
About the color, darker bases give you a richer look as well as some added warmth, but remember that if the color does not suit your skin tone, fashion and trend can go out the window.
We hear reds and gold’s for color, but so many times this does not look good on some skin tones and cause a drab look. Trust the experts and enjoy your new style, but change often even if it’s only a little.
Talk to your stylist and get some helpful hints on products and style tips for the holiday and remember to be thankful for all we have.
Live well, God bless you and thanks for visiting the planet.
