Hello from the Planet,
As I awoke this morning the light passed over the sky of scattered clouds with hints of those pink, red, and purple colors that no one can describe.
Wind was light but had a chill in the air making the animals scurry about. This is when you know fall is coming soon and we talk about making the trip to see the colors change in October. Everyone has a thought on when the peak of color will be, but it’s only a guess.
Let’s not guess about our hair and how to build good moisture and elasticity, which will make all the changes in your hair style at its peak. Clients come to the salon when problems arise with their hair. It’s simple to keep your hair good, it’s hard to keep it simple. Don’t over think what you should do. Like hot oil treatments are not the best, what do we fry fries in? Don’t do it to your hair! Ripping a brush through your hair after loading it with product and firm hold spray is not a good idea. Leaving your hair a bit damp and using a curling or flat iron is not a good idea. Cutting your own bangs is not a good idea.
We talked about texture of a product in relation to the texture of your hair, but not everyone understands how it really works. Finding products that work great for you can take time, money and a lot of frustration. I would like to suggest that your friends give you recommendations all the time, right?
Let’s start sharing some of those products under the cupboard that no longer get your attention and share them with your friends at the new Ocala Girlfriend Network that meets at the Irish Rose Gallery each Wednesday 4 till 6 pm. Stop by to share your castaways and learn about something new that will work for you.
While you’re pulling product out, take time to think about why it did not work and look at the thickness of the product to see if it was too heavy or too light. Did you put it in your hair wet or dry? Was your hair pliable, stiff, dull or shiny?
If you find yourself not happy with the end results, then try something else or take it to the salon for advice on how to use it so you’re more versed on what the product is used for.
Live well, God bless you and thanks for visiting the planet.
